In September 2023 Erin created The Station HQ, took steps to complete the Practice Management Course and created an Incorporated Legal Practice.

In September 2023 Erin created The Station HQ, took steps to complete the Practice Management Course and created an Incorporated Legal Practice. 

Prior to this, Erin had 15+ years in boutique or national private practices as a commercial lawyer. Erin spent time with an international FMCG franchisor in various roles including as General Counsel and Chief Legal, People & Culture Officer for Australia & New Zealand (managing the functions of Legal, Human Resources, Employee Relations, People Safety, Learning & Development).  Over this period, she created many programs to facilitate creativity,  learning and fun, including Hackfest, the Kids Club, Sandbox Learning and more.  

Erin was also Company Secretary and Interim General Manager for an ANZ charity.  

Erin is the Founder and Principal Legal Practitioner of The Station HQ Pty Ltd, an Incorporated Legal Practice in Queensland, Australia. 

The Station HQ is a home for law, business, people and community. 

The practice of being a Chief Legal, People & Culture Officer enabled Erin to bring together many teams and streams to build a strong bedrock of people-first operations.  This drive and purpose has flowed through to The Station HQ.

The practice of being a Chief Legal, People & Culture Officer enabled Erin to bring together many teams and streams to build a strong bedrock of people-first operations.  This drive and purpose has flowed through to The Station HQ. 

The Station HQ is a law firm and a business consultancy but also home to initiatives such as:

• Insourceable. Designed to make in-house easier by providing timely resources and training to in-house teams and organisations - who can then train their people and teams on the inside. In-house teams often do not have the time to stay across every legal update relevant to their business - and Insourceable is here to help them stay informed, relevant and across developments that may impact their business. 

• Little Stationers. A parents group supporting the legal profession. This initiative was created from seeing and hearing stories of disconnect and isolation in the profession, particularly from mums.  The Little Stationers is a warm and welcoming community to help and support mums, dads and carers with their parenting journey.

• MENTY - Made for You. MENTY is a lifestyle program created to help spark joy and share micro habits to improve mental fitness for anyone.  MENTY was borne from a combination of Erin's work in-house in People, but also from speaking with a number of social workers about the startling high and growing rate of in and out-patient mental health support services rendered to legal professionals.  This program is for everyone (not just lawyers) and includes a retreat and ongoing access to classes, resources and events.   Programs can be tailored for corporate groups. 

• The GC Coach by The Station HQ. Erin believes that leaders have an obligations to make everyone around them better than them. Coaching is a great way to help people who want assistance in their career planning and self-development. As an experienced General Counsel,  programs can be tailored specific to the person, for senior legal counsels looking for their next step, General Counsels looking to round-out certain skill-sets, or any legal professional future-readying themselves. What matters is that you want to put in the work - and we are here to help.
